Who We Are in HIM - HOPE Devotional

In times of tragedy and sorrow, confusion and fear, sometimes we need to take a moment and be reminded of who we are in Him.

We are children of the most high King, Father God and precious in his sight. Isaiah 43:4

He is the author and perfect of our faith and the ultimate healer and physician. His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9). We do not always understand them, but He does all things for the good of those who love Him (Jeremiah 29:11). I know in my heart that if we can look to Jesus in every moment of fear and anger and confusion and frustration, He WILL bring us a peace that surpasses understanding. (Philippians 4:7)

He tells us in this life there will be trouble (John 16:33), but that He will walk with us through every moment if we will let Him and He will bring us peace.

The greatest gift we can give anyone is the gift of our prayers and reminders that there is peace and hope and comfort in Jesus that can never be found in this world. I'm praying for you to feel that today and throughout whatever trial you face and to come to know Jesus in a deeper and more intimate way because of it.
