Bloom Where You're Planted - Opa's May Hope Prayer

God of all creation, the newness of life that You bring in the spring is obvious. It is visible as we look about Your world.  Each year we know You bring newness to all of life, and we ask you this year to again include our simple lives in that process.  As we watch the flowers and trees bloom and the grass grow we ask that you might grow us also. During the same time that the earth is cool and stagnant we often become less productive in our lives. Encourage us, not just during the spring, but in each day to be more productive on Your behalf.  We each need a fresh start. We each of us need to evaluate where we are now in our lives and where we need to be in the future. Encourage us during this time of year not just to reevaluate where we are now, but reinvigorate us to be new vessels filled Spirit for Your vision and energy for Your earthly kingdom.   When we consider all of the things that you need to have done in your world, allow us also to participate in that new growth. Grow us with new energy and strength for the benefit of our family, our community, and especially for our faith in Jesus Christ.  Amen.
